Terms and conditions

These terms apply to all offers, appointments and work by Mechanix, based in Amsterdam, on our customers' motorcycles and related vehicles.

We work by appointment. A price estimate via the website, WhatsApp or email is not a quote and is not binding. The final price follows after inspecting the motorcycle.

Stated starting prices are indicative for an average motorcycle and exclude parts, unless stated otherwise. Prices are in euros.

We carry out the agreed work with care. If it turns out during the work that extra work or extra parts are needed, we discuss it with you beforehand. We do not carry out extra work without your approval.

We arrange pick-up and delivery by agreement. During transport and work the motorcycle is in our care. Please tell us about existing damage or defects beforehand.

You pay after the work is done, when collecting the motorcycle, unless we agreed otherwise in writing. If a payment term applies, it is the term stated on the invoice.

Our work and the parts we supply carry a reasonable warranty, at least the statutory warranty. The warranty lapses in case of improper use, damage caused by third parties or work on the same part carried out by others.

We are liable for damage that is the direct result of a fault attributable to us, up to a maximum of the invoice amount for the job concerned. We are not liable for defects that already existed or for consequential damage, unless there is intent or gross negligence. We are not liable for personal belongings left on or in the motorcycle.

If the motorcycle is ready and you do not collect it within a reasonable period after our notice, we may charge storage costs. We always do this in consultation with you.

If you have a complaint about work carried out, report it as soon as possible after discovering it via info@mechanixamsterdam.nl, so that we can look into it and resolve it.

Dutch law applies to all agreements. We first submit disputes to each other. If we cannot resolve them, the court of Amsterdam has jurisdiction.
